Glen Mills, PA May 12, 2004 -- It's one of today's hottest fads among women. Stores are popping up across the nation to feed the trend while thousands of people search for information on it every day online. That fad is scrapbooking -- creating the most unique family photo albums imaginable, from touching to humorous to bizarre and beyond.
Despite its popularity, scrapbooking faces a major challenge in a world where families and friends often end up living hundreds or thousands of miles apart: how do you share your creative efforts with those you most want to share with? The solution, of course, is in going digital.

One correction: scrapbooking is not a fad. It's been around for hundreds of years. If you go to the Memory Makers Magazine Website they have an excellent article on the history of scrapbooking. Please don't sell this hobby short by calling it a fad.
Sorry if you where offended because I agree with you it's not a fad. This was the title of someone elses article and I just enjoyed the content about creating online guides.
